About me

Hanna_Rinne_2024_small.jpg

I'm a Finland-based visual artist and designer who finds beauty in the intersection of the whimsical and the wicked. With over two decades of professional experience in visual storytelling, my work is a testament to the power of contrast.

The Vision

Specializing in Pop-Surrealism (also known as Lowbrow Art), I draw inspiration from the legendary Tim Burton, weaving together vibrant colors with dark, gothic undertones. My signature "creepy-cute" style manifests through paintings, miniature sculptures, and experimental digital art — also blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge AI tools.

The Journey

My professional path began at the Pekka Halonen Academy, where I laid the foundation for my career in graphic design. Over the past two decades, my work has been centered on building immersive worlds through character design and crafting visual identities for a diverse range of brands. My personal art is a natural extension of this journey: an invitation to explore a realm that is as sweet as it is strange.
